Carole Feuerman exhibition

2024-05-25 2024-09-03

This summer, during the Olympic Games, Carole Feuerman will be exhibiting her monumental sculptures in Paris on the Champs-Elysées, on the esplanade of the Eiffel Tower... and at the Lausanne Palace! Five fascinating monumental sculptures, as well as 2 beautiful silkscreen prints enhanced with diamond powder, can be seen all summer long at La Rotonde, 1915 and on the terraces of Matcha Picchu and LP's Bar, on the city side.

Carole A. Feuerman is an American artist born in 1945, renowned for her hyper-realistic sculptures of swimmers. A leading figure in the Hyperrealist movement since the 1970s, Feuerman excels in the creation of meticulous detail, notably the resin water droplets that seem to be beading on the skin of her figures. These works can be found in some very fine private collections as well as in numerous museums, such as the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery, the State Hermitage Museum in St Petersburg and the Palazzo Strozzi in Florence.

His sculptures are the subject of major public exhibitions around the world, affirming his lasting influence in the field of contemporary art.
